I used to own a 2001 Ford SVT Cobra Mustange that did amazining burnouts. Since I got the G35 I have never been able to do a burnout with it. I know its childish but once in a while its just fun. The car should have enough power to do a brake stand yet I can't do it. I turn off the VDC . Is there just not enough power in a 5AT 2005 G35 or am I missing a step or two

there's plenty of power, its just that Nissan has had a little system that will soon be mandatory thanks to the DOT... its brake override. The ECM kills engine power when there is heavy throttle applied and brake force as well. Some people go around this by playing with the brake switch so they can hold the brakes and burnout...

yeah infiniti will never have a stuck accellerator problem... lol... toyota dosent have a brake overide feature...

but even my g35x could do a short burn out... but more of a drift cause you had to pull a curve very hard... cause holding the brake doesnt work...

Titan owners hacked the harness and installed a switch to allow them a bypass when they needed it. Someone would have to try to break down the G wiring harness to see if it's possible on ours or not.

Buddy of mine had a '69 mach 1 with the 428CJ. It was the burgundy color with reflective yellowish stripes going down the side and the ram-air setup. Car was a monster!
