press the brake firmly with the heel of your right foot, and rev with your toes.. rev to about 3-4k , drop the clutch.. hold revs at about 4500-5kor more if needed (if tires start to get traction)

lots'o'smoke :)

HAHAH you said spark a rim, Ive never heard that used anywhere except the ricer's street racing slang dictionary. Great term though.

Ive been burning out a little too much lately, my clutch is starting to slip, well time to drop the transmission.

linelock will lock your front brakes ...

i rev the motor with my right foot to the desired rpm, with left on clutch....drop the clutch, and quickly apply left foot to brake while applying gas with the right foot. (dont have to drop at a high rpm at all), (the car shouldnt even move more than a ft) sit there, let em smoke a bit, wait for the dude to wave forward, then go john force style on them all the way to the staging line..

jesse

linelock would be the best way to warm up your tires

Easiest way to spark a rim:

Get a gallon of gasoline, distribute evenly between the left and right tire, step back, light a match, have fun.

A more in depth description of a line lock: It is basically a valve that is installed somewhere in the line for the front brakes. You hold the brake pedal, flip the switch for the line lock, and let go of the pedal. THe line lock holds the pressure in the line on the front brakes, effectively locking them and leaving your rear brakes un engaged, allowing you to "spark" as many rims as you see fit. If i recall, they usually cost about 80 bucks to get put in (don't quote me on that) but its not a hard thing to install yourself, if you are at least a little mechanically inclined.

I dont understand, is it cool to burn out? yea I like wasting my brakes and tires, seriously the only time i make smoke is usually at the beginning of a drag.

no its actually easy, I light fire to my flats and when the starter fires his gun I lay down some serious rubber in the 200m dash.

Id really laugh if someone tried to do a burnout by over-riding the back breaks without linelock. hope you enjoy warped rotors if you do!

haha :pface

Plenty of smoke though, which is good, only if you're trying to do it of course. As far as rednecks, my town is filled with riced out Civics and raised trucks that have tires taller than all the cars around them. Even some of those trucks have Altezzas, it's sad... Gotta love the 'burbs!

When u want to do a brake stand in an auto

1 push the brake to the floor2 hit the gas to the floor 3 if the tires dont stop squeeling let the brake out a little until they stop and then push it bake in4 you have allot of smoke

tip: do your brake stands on black top it gives you more smoke and it isn't as bad on your tires
