Just wondering, cause i want to do this some day. it looks so insanely fun.

1. Do you need a lot of hp to burn out?

2.how do you burn out?

bleach the tires....

copious amounts of torque are what really make for great burnouts...

my car however likes to hook up and go instead of spinning them, even with the crappy tires....

think I'm gonna use some bleach next time...

makes them slick.

it'll help them put off more smoke as well.

I have no idea as to how it actually does it though...

so to burn out

from my understanding

1. put the car in 1st (while my left foot is on the clutch)2. then i rev high (but how high????).3. then pop the clutch right.... and i do i heel toe to do the light braking??

By the way can you guys explain poping the clutch??? is it just kicking the clutch super fast???

first will work but if you have the power a second gear burnout will spin the tires faster, make more smoke and kill your tires quicker (but damn it looks cool)don't try to stab the brake too fast or too hard or your look like a douche, you gotta get them spinning then get on the brake with your left foot and as the car starts to go sideways you'll want to let off gas and brake so as not to spin yourself in a circle

Heh...my dad's Ram has an LSD and the tires just alternate which is spinning. Makes interesting patterns if you spin them while moving. Probably not too good for the diff, but it sounds pretty damn cool.

bleach just adds more smoke.if my chevette can do a burn out then anything can.dont push the brake to hard or you'll stop the tire.

Or, get a FWD car and just press the gas kinda hard, it seems traction HATES ME...

I love me LSD... oh, and I win again cause I can use the e-brake... though I never have gotten to really burn out... not til the tires are near dead, and even then...yeah... gotta watch baldness...

Anyone want to donate some 195 or 205/55/16's?
