I'm guessing a piston shot out of the motor or something... had to be catastrophic whatever it was.

Through the head too?!?!

Just the force required to bend the hood like that, that quick, is mind boggling.

Exploding clutch/flywheel and shattered bellhousing.

Common failure for these cars when abused like that.

He's lucky it didn't chop off his leg, too.

I have seen that before but the hood was still fine.

This is the fail of the century...I mean he makes Nala and all the other NICO "special people" look good.

That's what I was thinking, but I can't wrap my head around something going through the bell housing AND still having enough force to mangle the hood like that.

That's why I added "flywheel" into the mix there...

That's the only thing I can think of that would have the kind of potential to do that.

I wonder if he did that on purpose... I know when I blew one of my KA's I got out of the car and started to kick it I was so pissed.

I'm still trying to get past the fact that he has a bag for a passenger window but still feels the need to film burnouts. Priorities FTW.

Wow did not expect that, usually those videos end with a crash or burnt clutch not a bent hood!

The variety of fail makes the video a win.

The obnoxious ghetto exhaust, the burnless burnout, then the physical damage and smoke. I also like how his neighbor took notice as the camera continued recording.

That looks like a piston shooting out of a block or at least though the head and the head is what caused the hood to pop.

Except for the wheels not moving, the smoke coming from the underside of the car...

But they do say "detonation" in the notes, so um...

I was thinking this too. I was expecting him to peel out without being able to see any traffic from the right, and run into something.

What are you talking about, the car probably weighs 3 lbs less know. Thats the new trend.

transverse motor, lot less likely chance of that happening.

this was great though, almost as good as the c6 z06 roasting the clutch.
