you are running rich as in too much fuel?

that could be a number of things........ vac leaks, spark plugs, coil plugs, drop in resistor, FPR, issue with Tb, massive over cooling.......

much more.

what OTHER condition are you having? running rich when gas is at nearly 4 bucks(already that and more for some) is not a great thing.

If I had to guess it would be related to plugs or coil plugs....... but knowing what other issues you are having could also result in running rich.

yeah my gas goes down so quick i only get like 200 miles on a full tank. its sad. but the only thing i notice is that theres a lot of smoke coming out of my exhaust. my rear bumper is COMPLETELY black. i hear a POP whenever i shift gears. thats about it. theres a lot of sluge on my engine too.

She's right on some things and one being the fact that you may have vacuum leaks, or you may have leaks at the intercooler piping, or you may not properly have your car set-up the way it was supposed to be set-up from factory or you may have a chipped ecu that's causing the thing to run rich or you may not have your o2 sensor hooked-up or your o2 sensor maybe screwed. The possibilities are endless and you'll need to look over you car very well to make sure some of these things are not taking place.
