burning spark plugs

i recently bought a 240sx s14 with bore out pistons and after market connecting rods the guy told me that its burning spark plugs wen you over drive the car. or rev it up more than 5k RPM PLEASE HELP

hummm...answer the following questions as honestly as possible please to find this issue....

was the compretion ratio bumped up?
was the block and or head decked?
what thickness gasket are you using for the head? and name brand?
what gas do you run?
what type of spark plug do you use? hot or cold type?
is there a msd ignition system installed..or simmilar item?
last but not least...have the injectors and fuel pump been upgraded?

I was checking the car today and i took out the spark plugs out and they were fine. What i notice was that the EGR pipe that goes to the headers was disconnected, the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) is damage and the air cleaner temperature sensor is broke. I'm going to fix all that tomorrow to see if it continues failing.

Its probably because of unmetered air leaning out the A/F mixture. All of the things you said above will cause a lean condition. To better diag the problem you would have to post a pic of the "burn't plugs". The plugs will show you whats going on in the cylinders. Could also be timing, lack of octane.........
