Burning smell after 3.4k miles? Not oil, maybe brakes?

I've been keeping an eye on my oil consumption (nothing after my first oil change 750 miles ago) but I keep smelling a burnt odor after I put my G35x in the garage when I get home.

Could brakes still be wearing in/seating after almost 3,500 miles? Plus it smells more like burnt clutch than brakes.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I don't ride the brake, but I am a bit hard (it seems like I've become a "late braker").

Dude, You've got your foot into it just like me. My 06 G35x always smells a bit when I get home. It's cause she's tired and happy, just like any good girl after a workout. Give her a bath and some hand-rubbed wax and she'll still smell good years from now!

Go to a mechanic, probably the smell of wearing in the clutch, if your m/t hopefully this smell goes away, if it doesnt ask someone how to drive stickor your going to be paying some cash

good luck with your gonly assuming it is clutch, which would be normal, but disapearing with 3500miles
