why is my '02 altima burning oil all the time? it doesn't get low, it just always burns quick! i had my oil changed a month ago and that stuff is black as night!

What brand and viscosity of oil do you use? Do you drive long distances or mostly just city driving?

If the oil turns black easily, but does not turn into sludge, then your oil is working; that is, cleaning your engine and preventing deposits from building up in your engine.

An engine flush every 10,000 kms would help clean your engine.
