Burning Oil Smell no smoke..

my 240 has a ka24de in it , but when i turn it on NO SMOKE!!! BUT WHEN u get out of the car or windows open u can smell the oil wich stinks and hate the smell of it , also just shows normal smoke when its cold out not alot of smoke nothing , just smells like it . dose that indicate my valve gasket needs replaceing? , also got a 4" exahust tip , im not to worrie about it just wanted to know for later on repairs

Get a flashlight and a mirror if you have to. If you smell burning oil and have no smokey tailpipe you are correct to suspect a leak. It could be anything, but it will be visible and most likely leaking onto your exhaust manifold so valve cover gasket would be my first check.
