Does anyone know if the location of the PCV Valve is easy to get to on a 2001 Qx4/Pathy?

My truck seems to be burning/leaking a little too much oil, I was hoping after changing my oil pan seal and the valve that it will stop or not be as bad. But my oil wont even last 5k without me having to fill or change.

Any advice would be greta :)

I keep putting off mine. It's gotta be the least accessible PCV valve on any engine ever. It could have easily been located anywhere else and taken 3 minutes to change. I think Nissan purposely designed it this way it is so dealers could charge a couple hours of labor to change a $7 part.

Note - while you are changing the PCV valve, do the hoses there also along with the thermostat under the intake. Cheap insurance.

Thank you both, what a job for some oil. I may be in over my head but I will check it out.
Appreciate the insight!

Oil usage is more likely due to sticking/struck rings and this being a tapered bore design engine (more power when new, but leads to this when old.)
