I just took off the top of my engine to paint it...everything went fine...looks great...i put all the bolts back on cept for the front right bolt because for some reason it wouldn't tighten. I'm gonna go to NAPA today to get that bolt and put a new one on but in the meantime i thought i 'd be able to make it the mile and a half to school...when i got here the damn thing was spewing oil...somebody told me it might be the rubber gasket that's under there, i was hoping somebody might tell me that it's just the bolt that need to be tightened to seal the engine, but if it is the gasket, i don't know the part name/number so if someone could give me that, i'd b extremely happy...thanks

You removed the valve cover without replacing the gasket? That's definitely a no-no. I don't know the part number, but I'm sure you can call up Everything Nissan and just tell them what you need. I assume it's a solid rubber gasket. If it's RTV you can get that at Pep Boys.

get both the rubber outer gasket and the spark plug ring strip that goes down the middle. use the RTV where the half moon plugs are at either end of the valve cover

at everythign nissan they have 2 gaskets, an inner and an outer...is the inner 1 the spark plug ring strip? and i also need the bolts to tighten the valve cover and i searched but everything nissan didn't seem to have them...should i get them from a dealer, or are there aftermarket bolts that would work?

yes the strip is the inner. they probably have to order the bolts but they can get them along with the cover gaskets.
