Now that I have this new exhaust system, people are going to notice that my car has mods, and that the parts can fetch a decent price for not much work.

I was thinking of something simple, like stripping the bolts that attach the rear sway bar. I don't think there's any such thing as burglar proof, but making thieves' lives that much harder and perhaps pissing them off is probably better for the universe than just getting your junk lifted without a hitch.

Anyone have any similar, annoying ideas to make thieves' lives more difficult?

Aren't such changes likely to make your life more difficult too?

I.e., in case you need to replace/fix something on your car, that is.

Wheel locks would be a start. As for stripping bolts, it would make your life more difficult if you ever have to take them off.

I would invest in an alarm with a tilt/motion sensor. Any jacking up or tampering with your car, the sensor would sense the motion and alarm goes off.
