I went through the drive-through, sat for about three minutes before someone said through the intercom that they were closed (it was about 7pm on a Wednesday). I pulled around and looked inside. There were a bunch of teens inside, about 4 teenage employees in uniform and all the lights were on.
I parked the car and walked in. They were open. I ordered a Whopper meal from some young punk named Cameron. After I paid I asked him why I was told they were closed.
He replied "Because I was trying talk to my friends."
I said "Are you f*cking kidding me?"
He says "No, but at least I'm being honest. Do you want something for free?"
I said no, took my Dad's burger and left.
Honestly man, your taking a s***ty minimage wage job for teenagers way too seriously.93coupe wrote:That'd be a pube.

Not really. A store has posted hours that says their open, you expect to at least be served (albeit maybe a little while...)Red coupe wrote:

That is some funny stuff right there, you should have laughed and gotten some free food out of it.
You are taking fast food WAY too seriously. Its a f***ing burger king. What do you want from the employees.marlin29311 wrote:

Being denied service "because i was talking to my friends" is not an excuse - you're still at work no matter how you look at it. If a supervisor was there, the talking would have never happened, or the guy probably would have been repremanded or fired.
I want my food (not that I actually eat at any of these places...)Red coupe wrote:You are taking fast food WAY too seriously. Its a f***ing burger king. What do you want from the employees.
Kids working s***ty jobs mess around. Its part of life. Lets not be so old and grumpy that we cannot appreciate being young. Whats the worst that is gonna happen, your not going to get your Whopper? More important things man...
And you would have gotten it, with extra free stuff if you didn't get all pissy.marlin29311 wrote:

Five guys FTW!It's kinda pricy for a burger joint, but considering you can watch them actually making the burger patties, and the "normal" burger has at least a 1/2lb of meat on it.....
