Buncha N00b questions

Hey guys, right now im prepping my 240 for an Rb25 motor, but I had a few questions. When I get the motor in I don't intend to use ac or heating since this will not be my daily driver. So would it be ok to just rip out the heating and cooling unit under the dash? I already ripped out all the AC lines and condenser. I would just leave them in, but I figure if i'm not using them i might as well toss them and save some weight... Also is it ok to just leave the electrical connectors like from the wiper fluid reservoir hanging. Or do I have to do anything special with them? Oh and has anyone here successfully removed the battery tray cleanly? Cause this thing does not look like its coming out without a cutting wheel.
