I'm getting the dreaded blinking airbag light. I'm coming up with the following confirmed codes:

B0001: No sub type information
B0002: Circuit open
B00A0: Erratic

I don't even know where to start with so many codes. Is there some kind of sequence I'm supposed to follow.

The B0001 and B0002 mean a bad spiral cable (clockspring). Chances are the B00A0 doesn't mean anything, a low battery can cause it.

Thanks for the advice. I agree but if it was the spiral cable then wouldn't other things stop working like the horn? I think spiral cable's are difficult to diagnose because they can be intermittent. Need to know of a good way to verify functionality of a spiral cable.

Spirals usually pop a few conductors at a time, they rarely fail all at once. The way to check one is pull the airbag loose and pop the covers off the column, then ohm the wires through the spiral from the bag connectors to the Main Harness connector. I'll just point out that I've seen exactly 1 failed airbag since 2013, and I've never seen both sides of a 2-stage bag fail simultaneously. So the chances of the spiral being the issue are near 100%.
