1: Is the rear crank oil seal just a press in fit? or is there anything special I should know?

2: Anyone ever changed to the "solid" lifters(aka from tomei) Good Bad?

3:Anyone ever know if there are any custom CA oil pans out there? (similar to the ones greddy made for the SR?)
And if so where I can find one????

I can only answer the last one. Champion radiators on eBay are pretty good. They are Chinese, but people have had good results with them. I'm using one in my Jag that's been very helpful in this hardcore South Texas heat.

I ended up using a radiator for a 67 big block Camaro because the dimensions were the same. I don't know what would work on a Nissan.

1: Is the rear crank oil seal just a press in fit? or is there anything special I should know? You can press it in, but you should be real careful and push it in evenly.

2: Anyone ever changed to the "solid" lifters(aka from tomei) Good Bad? Playing with solid lifters is a pain in the butt and would cost you a nice chunk to get it done because it has been done with precision. I wouldn't charge less than a 1k for the labor because it's time consuming.

3:Anyone ever know if there are any custom CA oil pans out there? (similar to the ones greddy made for the SR?)
And if so where I can find one???? There was a member who had a custom one-off oil pan, but said more can be produced if the buyer wanted to spend the money.

4: Best aluminum radiator for the buck? (ex koyo, mishi, cx, ect) CX is just fine.

That's alllll for now :bigthumb:

Awesome thanks Dee :yesnod

Good to know about the crank seal:), and yeahhhhh so solid lifters I'll just go ahead and pass on for now lol, I'm pretty sure I know who you're talking about for the oil pan, his was purple, but I have no idea what his name is, and I will go ahead and order me up a CX, well or a chase bays theirs looks awesome but at $400, I may as well just pay like 150$ and get the CX!

I just did the oil seal with my fingers.

Just cleaned the holding plate real well and kept pressing bit by bit going around the seal.

Spent half an hour preparing and cleaning.

Seal went in in a minute.

Cool, yeah I figured you can just push it in just to be really careful.
