Great example of why bright metal B pillar chops the side window space.

totally agree,it kills the flowing lines and visual length of the greenhouse,Infiniti got it right from the factory,as this is one of my favorite views of this automobile-elegant!

There's the original. You can see I also shaved the door handles, adjusted the exposure and removed the stripe down the side.

I chromed the B pillar to see what it'd look like... I'll post up a version without the chromed pillar in a couple.

I kinda dig the long wheel base and with the wheels looking so close to the front and rear of the car. I couldn't like the styling more!

Here's the link to it.

Wes, I got 3/4 done the front view using the same car. I stretched the bumper vertically quite a bit and slapped in a home made horizontal grill. IMO, looks good. I'll see what I can do tonight though, but I gotta jetter right now.

Is it just me or does that look kinda Audi-ish?

I really like the smoothed out door handles look PRIME..... It does kinda look more audi-ey...

BTW, I didn't lower it either... but the 18s fill the gap quite well and really emphasize a more aggressive styling.

Everything up to the rear of the car looks very Audi-ish... just noticed that now.

Don't ask about the grill/lights... they're "ideas gone wrong..." if you will. :pface I was pretty much just looking for a way to express some ideas I had... turns out they weren't too good. I still want to try shoving some headlights in there that are a little more "square".

Thanks Jesda! If you like that you may like it with some Audi A8 headlights as well: Link.

Not at all... this is the point where it ceases to look like the original car. I think I'm going to start doing more realistic photoshops... ones that have relevance to the real world and stand a significant chance of one day being implemented.

Thanks guys. I'll be looking at my Q tommorow (ETA to Vegas: 10 hours) and we can see then how realistic then it'd be to chop the bumpers. Sounds like mine are pretty thrashed anyways... they'd probly make for a good project. Lots of time, just no car!

Keep your fingers crossed and maybe I'll be able to have the Q fixed too so we can bring both cars up... doubtful, but you never know.
