First off, I drive a 720 so I really don't know my way around a 240 too well. Well, I was helping a buddy of mine with his 240 and we went to the local yard to pick up a new bumper. We took off all the visible screws to the bumper, and couldn't find anymore, but it still wouldn't come off, even after a few hard tugs. What else is keeping it on there?

I believe it's a '90. There were four screws on top and four on bottom. Are there screws holding it to the fender, possibly up under the fender liner? I can't believe I forgot to check while I was there.

Where the bumper meets the fenders, and in the opening of the fender there are bolt holding it to the support.

Bring an extension. You won't be able to reach all of them without it. Probably a 6" min. The longer the easier.

I'm not in Humboldt any more man. Back in Quincy fighting fire. Just got back from Alaska actually haha. I will be back near October/november. I got a big parts list getting built. Hope to order by August.

I think I counted about 8,493 nuts when I removed my front bumper.

So I said f*** that and put 6 of them back on.

Now I just use zipties.

Troof. And 4 bolts.

Zip ties will be holding my bumper on...when I feel like putting it back on.

Ha, you were right about the extension. There were 16 bolts in all. Unless you count the ones used to rip out reservoirs and such, lol. Zip ties FTW!
