bumper swap

did any of you guys do a front bumper swap for an 01 sentra se to a se-r bumper...or if not does anyone no how much it would cost to get a a bumper and have this done.. im really consideirng it but i have limited funds lol

It is a direct swap. Just need to find a bumper. Will take you less than an hour.

OE unpainted bumpers run about $300 last I checked, a bit less for the SAE-certified non-Nissan replacements.

You may have better luck finding a junked car that was wrecked from the rear for the swap.

http://stores.ebay.com/TheOnlineBodyShop theres were i got my bumper if your car is a stock color and you have the color code the guy does an almost exact match!! Of course you have to figure in some weathering of your own car but mine came out great and i love it!!!! As for the install you will need to modify the stock bumper foam that goes underneath the bumper cover but other than that it is an exact swap buy some apc stainless mesh grille stuff and make a DIY grille for the top and bottom and your golden.
