Getting the front body panels from a K's silvia soon and I notice people say you have to "shave" the bumper support to make it work.

How much is shaved ideally? I really dont see how to do it short of grabbing a saw-zall and hit it like texas chainsaw massacre. Help please!

You've got the right idea with the sawz-all. Take the entire seam/lip off so that it's flush, then grind it nice and smooth. You can then weld it back up to box it in, or just leave it. Either way, put some paint on it to keep it from rusting.

Also do you need to keep the two vertical supports that connect to the top and bottom of the radiator to the bumper?
