has anyone installed on those Nudged bars that we see on ebay?? If so can you share some pictures or reviews.

I happen to be driving a lot a night time between Houston and Austin at night and I've seen a lot of dead deers on the side of the road.

More than extra protection if it can be called like that, I'm interested on having a way to install a pair of auxiliary lights, as here in Texas specially driving to the western area the roads are pretty dark and solitaries, additionally to that solitude when rains is like literally they open a waterfall in the sky and you can see a darn thing even with factory fog lights.

If you happened to have installed some extra lights I'll appreciate some ideas on installation locations without a steel bar.

Thanks,

If you hit a deer at highway speed a (decorative) bumper bar will do nothing for you.

As far as more lights go....it would likely be illegal for you to drive on public roads with a set of auxiliary lights on in addition to your regular headlights and fog lights. Off road is fine. But this depends on state law so check that out.

bull-bars / push-bumpers, etc - cause more problems than they fix. do they protect your car from 5mph crashes? YES.
will they reduce vehicle damage at 10mph+? NO.

they bolt to major framing/unibody on the vehicle and all the kinetic energy from the cash is passed onto the mounting points and beyond. plus, good luck getting that f-in thing off after a crash. its twisted, the bolts are bent, and its a total hassle.

Did a little research, and found the installation manuals for those bars and the anchoring points to the body are not quite convincing. Very different form the OEM bar available on the Australian market.

The additional lights were for county and back roads. Those roads are pretty empty some additional light could be useful. However after some research i think that it as easy fix. I saw on other post the difference between the regular bulbs and LED kit on the fogs lights and it is huge. Exactly what i'm looking for, better ground illumination on bad weather conditions.
