ok. so i've been thinking, since i crashed my car less then a week ago and wrecked the front of the car in due to no metal bumper (intercooler sacrifice) could a supplimental bumper be built out of steel bars (welded on the front of the car) that fits under the bumper support, around an intercooler and be stronger then stock...so in the event of a crappy accident like my last one, i could totally PWN folks SUV style?

i'm thinking like same place as the stock bumper but out of tubular steel, and maybe triangulated a few places...and a little further forward as to allow for the IC to fit...what do you think guys?

it would work, but you'd have to make sure you cut the foam out of the stock from bumper cover, and the steel beams would support the bumper
