So I couldn't figure out how to get the stach off without damaging mypaint. I put a few little nicks in it trying and so rather than risk itI just removed my bumper I've been really scared to do this crapto my car cuz I've never done it before...but it couldn't have been easier.

I use the How To info and realized there were a couple steps missing.

1. There are 4 - 6 (cant remember right now) more clips on the bottom of the bumper that need to be removed.

2. Would have been nice to know how the fogs get disconnected as I'venever done that...but its just a 90 degree turn of the plug and then pull.

I'm glad I removed the bumper...it was easy and after doing it I feelmore confident to tackle more mods.

ONE QUESTION THOUGH!!!!!

I'm not sure I got the shielding put back right underneath the car in one place on each side.

This pic is about 8-11 inches from the front tires and shows some shieldingthat sags just a bit. Is this correct or should it be tucked in over the other shielding.

I think it's correct...but not sure...An assist here would be nice.

That flap goes over top of the wheel well shield (piece on the left). Then it connects with a clip, where that hole is.

But I didn't remove a clip there..... and it's the same on both sides soI should have 2 clips if that were so....what do I do? Just flip it up overand let it be?

I also noticed in the how to remove the bumper section there is a pic with it hanging down like mine...but it just seems wrong.

Wonder why I'm missing clips there.....did they just forget themwhen they put mine together? Or did they fall out or something?Seems odd to me.

Ok...Wait a minute.

I can't get the shielding up over the other shielding. It isn't hteright shape in the rear (where the hole is). There is no way it's fitting up there. The upper shielding extends too far and I can't tuck the lowershielding up over it. It looks like it was meant to fit there from the picture I posted...but in reality....there is no way it's fitting up over there.

Also the shielding that protects the brakes and suspension extends too farand will not allow me to even attemp to tuck the shielding up over it.

And...the hole that should accomodate another clip....there is no holeon the other shielding for a clip to go through...so a clip wouldn't evenwork if I had one.

I'm guessing I have it right.

SO, EVERYONE...go look at your car right now and see if anyone's is likemine. Cuz if all of yours are different...I really have a problem here.
