This item is a silver metal plate, much like the one on the Murano and Rogue. You can see a picture of this when you download the accessories brochure at the Inifiniti site here:rontek wrote:Interesting you mention that as I noticed that a "Rear Bumper Protector" is listed as an "option" now on the Infiniti site for the EX. They dont show a picture though and I cant find it on the accessories page.
This is the description and its listed MSRP is $250.00 . I am curious what exactly this is? I cant imagine it is just a piece of rubber that sticks to the bumper.

I like this much better than the plain plastic cover. but I also agree, $250.00 is ridiculous. I am sure somone will probably come up with a similar aftermarket piece at a reasonable price in the near future.
I just purchased the rubber bumper protector from Sportwing (look them up on E-bay) for $49 US + S&H. It went on no problem, and my only criticism is that it's a little bit too short. Other than that, I'm happy with it, and it will save the paint on the bumper (there are already 2 scratches).yellowbear wrote:Has anyone procured a rubber bumper protector that uses tape on the back bumper to protect against damage to the back bumper paint? The cheapest I've seen is $49. What does the dealer charge?Yellowbear
I got the OEM one, for about $220, pretty steep but lots better looking than the rubber stuff available on Ebayrontek wrote:Interesting you mention that as I noticed that a "Rear Bumper Protector" is listed as an "option" now on the Infiniti site for the EX.
