Bumper Insert Installation.

Hey guys, finally just got these in the mail today



Last thing I really need to complete my car. I was wondering if there's any sort of guide or something like that. Super noobish question but I was trying to pop them into place with no luck. I figured the way I was going about it I was gonna crack the plastic. Any tips or things I need to note?

They pop into place right next to the fog lamp assemblies with the black raised edge facing toward the fog lights.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. Should of looked at the back beforehand and seen how it had said LH and RH. Fail. They're on now though.

You also don't have the OEM front license plate holder, is yours just bolted into the bumper cover?

Yeah i was wondering about that too. It's funny because that's how it came from the dealership, with their license plate frame of course that I swapped out. Pretty sure its the reason why the bumper is cracked in half there, but it's a somewhat small issue for me.

I gave wrong instructions, my bad - the black raised edge obviously should face toward the fog lights. My bad. I fixed my post above in case somebody else uses this thread in the future.

A new license plate bracket is $46.12, apparently without mounting hardware (just a couple bolts). You may want to try the junkyard instead if you really want one.

Oh no worries. It's all good. At least I know how to do it now, because I know these will come off soon again for some "improvements". Oooo man. We'll see. I figure I'll hit up that junkyard I found in my area come spring time when they have new inventory. For now I got to save up for that 2" drop they have on 4x4 parts, with new shocks and struts...


And of course pay off my pathy. Haha.
