A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

My son just got an 02 Spec-V with a full body kit. The front bumper cover has several cracks in the fiberglass and some in the paint also. The stock bumper cover seems more flexible. Does anyone know of an aftermarket cool looking bumper cover that is flexible ie. more crack resistant? Or do they make an add-on to the stock spec-v bumper? You guys already know....but that spec-v is one quick little car. I'm reliving my youth through my kid!

Depending on the lines of the kit, you could use the stock Spec bumper and add a NISMO lip. Your Nissan dealer will be able to get one for you, or check online (our sponsors page has a few vendors).

Otherwise, I think you're stuck. As far as I know every kit available for this generation of Sentras is fiberglass.

Yeah there aren't too many tasteful body kits out for the Sentra and a majority of them are fiberglass. My personal feeling is just to go with the OEM front bumper and either put a Nismo front lip or a Syndicate Kustomz front lip on it like mine has. It is just a matter of personal preference I suppose.

Luckily fiberglass is easy to fix though so you could easily have it repaired and then repainted. Just make sure to drive the car carefully because fiberglass is pretty prone to cracking. You could also just reinforce the back of the bumper a little with more fiberglass and it should make it less prone to cracking I would think (I have never run fiberglass bumpers personally though).
