I have done some fiber glass work Gauges and some front lips. But i have never filler big holes. I was thinking to get some plastic and cut out a filler piece then just fiberglass the back and bondo the front and get to town sanding and paint Some tips and help would be great thanks guys.

fiberglass and bondo really dont stic to well to urethane what u could do if u still up for the challenge is use a little bit of sheet metal cut to the shape of the holes rivit them in and fill but the first hard bump or vibration will cause cracks

**** cant i just go to the scrap yard and find a bumped cut out plastic filler piece and glue it to fit like i did with the lip and fiber glass the back with bondo on the front?

Thanks for the tip Sheet metal should be np for me "Sheet Metal Worker" but will fiber glass stick to it ? cant really ruff it up like plastic.

In my experience fibreglass is too stiff to stick effectively to urethane. I had a thought why not just patch the openings with urethane. I know there are urethane bumper adhesives out there used to repair cracks and sheet. http://www.mcmaster.com/nav/enter.asp?pagenum=3495I would still scuff up the surface real good to aid adhesion.

fiberglass works wonders with metal what u could do with your idea with the urethan is to scuff it well enough and strip it with lacquer thinner it will open the poors to bond stronger
