Welcome to Nico chivo77

The FX w/ 20" rims may exhibit some bump steer on really bad road surfaces. I would advise you set your air pressure to 32-35psi and have an alignment done. If you are riding on larger rims energy tends to transfer through the steering linkage and may have an effect on steering.

You need to learn to anticipate this it is not going anywhere is considered normal under some conditions. Especially when the tires start to get worn. What type of tire are you running?Do you know how much tread is left?

Again I would like to welcome you to the group, and we will do everything possible to assist you the best we can but there is only so much that can be done.

I have seen those tires on a few FXs they are one of the noisest tire options available. They wear so poorly (of the ones I have seen) and can make a horrible noise every time your slow down. It is very similar to the noise the G35 Coupe owners used to complain about, it has to do with the alignment and tread wear issues.

For a softer riding tire I would recommend something like the RSAs that come on the 20s or something along the lines of a Michelin, there are many options available in this size but be aware the lesser priced options will tend to wear funny. You want to look for a asymmetrical tire that can be cross rotated to even out wear and stick to a strict 7500 mile rotation interval.

I do not know if you read the M forum but there is allot of discussion there about the Goodyear RSAs available on their models. However on the FX is a great option if you get the ones with a raised circle on both sidewalls (there are 3 or 4 different sources for these tires and only a few of them are good).

That's great to hear. What were the tires set at?
