Stillen header should be here in a few days just wanted to clear a few things up. I remember reading that the b pipe did not need to be cut correct? Also in the installation instructions they mentioned an O2 socket. Will I absolutely need this?

And a quick question about the BullyDog since I don't know the first thing about anything electrical. I saw Dan's old writeup on the installation and he said to use the 15w fuse. Can someone snap a quick picture for me pointing out the correct 1 please?

Btw I got my Stillen side skirts in the other day and had them painted. Color is a little off but the shop is going to fix it as soon as I have time to bring it back. Here's a quick shot of the coupe; better quality pics coming soon!:

bpipe doesnt need to be cut if you can live with the "sel light" & theres an 02 sensor on the header (i used a wrench) & if ur gonna move the sencond o2 sensor (bpipe part) u might need it cuz i couldnt get it with the wrench but ur gonna have to cut the pipe,wires... i didnt do it

Can anyone else confirm this or proof this? I am on the fence on buying the side skirts and rear corners.

Just go to Stillen and look there. But I can tell you right now it will fit our cars. Theres no reason why they would change anything on the side skirts because of a few changes to the body.

Thats retarded! are the 2010+ models shorter or something? If the side skirts are shorter, I'm assuming everything else is shorter and longer but some odd inches (besides the front)

I could of sworn the side skirts on the 08-09 fits the 2010+ the rear end the same and the sides. And I remember talking to Stillen about it also and them saying it should fit. Guess not?

Looks to me like all that has been discussed here is in some way at least partially related to the initial post ;)

Anyway - as far as the Bully Dog, that is out of left field for me as I thought it was a plug and play module... Might have to search for some other installations done.

Ya it is plug and play other than that part. Hopefully someone with the tuner installed see's this thread soon. I'm really hoping the driver fuse compartment has the fuse I need so I don't have to go through to the engine bay one.

corey-

the headers WITHOUT that secondary 02 bung will still shoot off the CEL, but the bullydog has the option to delete DTC codes. if you install the slipjoint for the 2nd 02 sensor, u wont get the CEL every 100 miles'ish.

(what i did when i had the coupe...)
I scheduled my inspection a couple weeks in advance, got the CEL on the dash to light, then as i took the car to the dealer and got to the parking lot, i deleted the code and shut the car off. dont make any other scheduled appts for this, just have em inspect the car and be done. afterwards, u'll most likely pass the inspection, no prob.

or u can just install the slipjoint and not clinch ur tight bumhole while waiting for the car to come bak out lol but its more involved, and ud be cutting a flange off my sexy nismo exhaust :X

Czonin - What other mods do you have besides the headers? From what I heard you need the basic essentials if you're gonna have the BD Tuner like Intake, Headers, Exhaust, Pulley (what else am I missing?)

Arite thanks dan ya I don't want to make any modification to the exhaust. Do you remember where the right fuse was for the bullydog?

Mike I have exhaust intake header.

u dont have to cut into the exhaust, u can do the end of the "bpipe/downpipe" b4 the catback section starts... thats where i eventually ended up doing it

Got the BullyDog setup just now. Found this pic in the engine section of the forums of the fuse to use in the driver fuse compartment:

Image

Only problem is that it doesn't turn off when the car is turned off so I have to unplug it. Anyone know another fuse in that compartment that looses power when the car is turned off?

I imagine the fuse for the 12V power source in the cubby hole is in there. Its probably one of the 20 amp yellow ones. I know for a fact that loses power when the car is turned off. Isnt there a diagram on the back of the panel that tells you what each position is for?

I just hooked up mine today also to a fuse that doesn't turn off there is a switch on the black piece that plugs into the ecu port that you can flip on and off instead of unplugging it if you haven't found that already.

Beside that.... Do you guys think there is any issue with leaving it on all the time anyway?
