Bully Dog GT - which fuse?

I've been searching for a while now.

I'm installing my Bully Dog GT finally and dont know which fuse I should use to power the unit. Probably a dumb question but I havent been able to figure it out. 2.5 6MT if that matters.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Using a fuse to power it is not recommended. I would simply tap into your stereo power wire or where the 4 way flasher switch is behind the vents for power. Typically using a fuse is ok in most situations with a jumper but I have seen some horror stories and fires caused by doing so or fuses simply melting. Just my two cents.

I agree, I've also heard of horror stories powering accessories this way...buttt, this is the way bully dog recommends doing it so that it is in a "key on power" fuse only. I understand this to be a fuse that is only on when the key is in the on position, not acc, or battery powered.

Really I didnt know that.... I might have to change my set up. Im hooked to a fuse now
