Alright I owned a 3.5 08 Nissan Altima I recently totaled it and I now own an 07 g35sedan (hr motor cvt) has any one here installed a bully dog gt tuner on this car? Or an 08??? If so how significant of power gains or loses have u guys noticed? And I'm wondering about the timing and idle options has anyone tinkered around with these and gotten any faster at the track? My fastest time is a 14.1 right now

Don't waste your time. Tried one on a 2011 G37 and could never get it to program and the help I got from Bully Dog was below subpar as they seemed to not care so it was returned.

O no I have the programmer installed and the only reason I have it is because I bought it for my Altima but on the Altima there was an extremely noticeable difference in the g35 I'm not so sure Geuss I gotta take it back to the track and see

This thread has been out here a while but I purchased a Bully Dog 40415 tuner last October (2014) for my stock '08 G37S automatic and have been very happy with it. You can choose tunes (I use the performance tune; there is also one for economy) and then you can choose throttle sensitivity (that is really cool), idle speed, and ignition timing (you can advance as much as 4 degrees or retard up to 10 degrees from stock). I advanced timing 4 degrees and that gave me a bit more power. Overall my car performs better and the Bully Dog was well worth the money. I got it from Amazon for $328.95 - if you look you may be able to find it on sale - I think the normal price is $399.

I've had the programmer installed for years now I honestly can't tell a difference between when I have it installed and when I remove it
