the Borg Warner S256 would be a great turbo for the power goals that you seek and should be able to flow enough air to have you in full boost by 3800-4000 RPM's. Many honda's run this turbo in street apps for the quick spooling characteristics.

I have an S362 in a twin scroll setup that should be finished in about a week.

If it doesn't spool quick enough for me then I might have to go a tad smaller. We shall see how it does.

I'm still not done with my setup....while my car was up in the air on a hydraulic car lift...the lift broke. So my main concern was getting it down safely. But soon...

In the meantime, take a look at this thread:

zer...age=1

This guy has an S362, but, he's having some issues with his setup. Once ironed out it should RIP.

FWIW I think the S258 is probably a great turbo for your plans. Quick spooling and can still support about 550whp (100 more than your initial goal). It is much like a 3076r (which I am also a fan of) but slightly larger.

As a side note are you dead set on the BW turbos? Otherwise the new PTE stuff also looks really good.

Yes, thank god. We got it down last night. Was a PITA.

I don't care if the lift gets fixed...I'm finishing the rest of the work with a floor jack on the GROUND!

honestly yes i'm set on the bullseye turbos just for the fact that i can get them cheap from a dealer here in town so......that and they spool faster than the gt30r so....i had a precision on my 300zx and honestly it's a good turbo but the seals are already bad and it's barely over a year old and half the year it wasn't on the car so......that and it had shaft play when i recieved it brand new(they said this was normal)
