Okay what i'm wondering is this, what flywheel, clutch, transmission is best for bullet proofing a rb25 s14. I wonderd around Nismo site but they just didn't offer anything that i could translate. :(

ehh..I as far as I know none of those things has to do with bullet proofing an engine. BUllet proofing an engine from my understanding means making it able to withstand high boost and resist the effects of detonation through the use offorged pistonsforged rodsforged cranksleeved aluminum block or int he case of RB... nothing since its an exremely well built iron block.usually a metal or partial metal headgasket designed to withstand the pressure of high boost.

I'm sure titanium valves and other head work may be considered bullet proofing...

but to answer your question...

to bullet proof RB 25...forged pistons /w probaby lower compression *.5 instead of 9)forged rodsI'm pretty sure the crank is really strong.. if not I think the RB26DETT crank is forged and would also raise your liters to like 2.6 or 2.7

The transmission should hold more power than you'll be making I'm sure. The clutch is the same as an N/A 300ZX(z32). ACT. SPEC. OSGIKEN. EXEDY. all of these should have some sort of clutch to match your power....also Daunttless, Night7racing, Unstable-Hybrids, and Mickinney motorsports should all sell the things your looking for..

I personally plan to purchase my RB through Night due to where he is...his prices... and his communication.

I ment parts for the transmission, because i believe you got to do that first before you turn up the boost.

just throw a good quality clutch in it and change the gear oil. You aren't going to break anything.

Yep, don't worry about the transmission till you approach 550hp to the wheels, then you can just switch to RedLine Heavy weight transmission Fluid.

In fact, I think you'll shell out the rearend gears before the transmission goes.

Drop a hundred horsepower off of that with slicks at the track. And your rear end will go pop at about 350rwtq. w/ slicks after a few good hard runs.
