Can anyone tell me what type or #bulbs to use in 1992Q door window switch and instrument panel warning lights? Also how do you change the bulbs in the center console window switches? Thanx.

And it would be easier to order new switches than to change the bulbs in the center console unless you have small fingers and are good at solding.

But I am sure someone less lazy may tell you how.

On the 94-96 Q it's very simple since the bulb and socket can be seen on the bottom of the switch. A 5 minute job.

On the 90-93 Q you'll need to disassemble the switch from the backside (4-6 tabs?) and install the Radio Shack bulbs shown in the pic. Bulbs for these switches are not available from the stealership. Take your time taking the switch apart and putting it back together since a few things have to line up properly to make it all work again.

the 194 for the instrument cluster is wrong, only 5 of the bulbs are 194 (i have the cluster out looking at it) there are 2 other sizes. 7 of a slightly smaller bulb and 2 very small bulbs on either side of the diag message screen thing. Does any body have a replacement number/ fix for these? I called the local nissan dealer and they want 30 a pop for them. That's $270 in lights :nono: I don't think so
