Does anyone know the size or part number for the bulbs that light up the speedometer and gauges? Im looking to get them from superbrightleds.com and its for a 97 pathfinder. Do they make them for this year???

Ok cool and how many do you need for just the gauges? Is it 2?

Open it up and check it out...

You might as well considering you're gonna need to open it to change the bulbs right?

And not to hijack the thread or anything but how do you replace the lights behind the a/c / radio / clock etc? I haven't looked into it to much, but i've taken out the radio before and saw no bulbs.

Mine needed 4 #74's to make it work. I have a '98 XE. At $3.49 each, it probably wouldn't hurt to get 4 just in case. If you only need 2, then you can use the other two for your HVAC lights (or so I'm told; I've yet to upgrade my HVAC lights)

get 6, 4 for gauges, 1 for odomerer and 1 for spare. I bought cheap ones off ebay and they kept burning out, I ended up using the sockets the led's came in and wired up my own 3mm leds with my own resistors, so far so good on odometer. I threw in my stock bulbs for gauges while I test the odometer blue LED if that works out then im going to make some high power LED's in white or blue or might just buy from the superbrightleds site since nobodys had problems with those bulbs

i only needed 2 i bought the matrix 3 LED from

http://autolumination.com/74.htm

i also bought the matrix 5 LED for my odometer but it was to big for the space so i switched it with the one from the speedometer. What im saying is the matrix 3 has a shorter stem and has a better chance of fitting whatever spot you put them in and the light difference between the 3 and 5 is barely noticable.

My bulbs from autolumination have never burnt out and have good build quality
