What's up guys? This would be the first time posting in the G forum... I've been pretty inactive lately. I sold the 240 back in september and finally was financially able to purchase my G35 a few months ago. It's getting warm now, so the mod bug is biting once again.
First off, it's an 06' coupe, pearl white, spoiler, bluetooth package, yada yada. I just wanna caress her rear, but that's a whole 'nother topic. (Yes, I have yet to take pics and change the sig) Getting to it!!
I HAVE to swap out these dingy foglight bulbs. Now, on the 240, i never paid attention to wattage and always burned bulbs out, even PIAAs, so I'm concerned with doing EVERYTHING right on this car after owning two 240's. (No, I'm not a ricer that crashed them).
The MFG specs call for a H1 55W bulb. Do I HAVE to purchase a bulb with a 55W input, or can i go stronger? Theoretically, higher wattage leads to higher heat, thus burning bulbs.
Apparently, it's a PIA the swap these bulbs out and I'd like to do this once and not every 4 months.
Input would be appreciated.
Only thing I've done to the car as of yet is swapped out interior, sidemarker, doorsill, and license plate bulbs to white LEDs. Looks like teh s3chs on a white car.
