I am building a all out KA24DE. It is for my 97 240sx. I am using the following parts.

CP Pistons with Eagle Rods $774.99ACL Bearing Kit $100ARP head Studs $129ARP Main Studs $99Cometic Headgasket $100.Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams $370Brian Crower Dual Valve Springs and Titanium retainers $360Brian Crower Stainless Steel Valves $275

i have never built an all out turbo motor. i have run 7-10PSI setups but never something so hairy as the 500HP im lookin for. What is a safe boost to run on this setup and what else would i need to meet my HP goals? any advice would be helpful.

Welcome to Nico first off- stay away from BC cams... not much quality control.go Kelford 272's

With that build on 10mm arp headstuds, up to 450whp is recommended for reliable power, and rethreaded 11mm arp studs are recommended for more power...

Everything else looks good

As far as boost... well, whatever it takes to make those whp numbers....

My rough guess for reliability.... (30psi with 10mm, 35+ with 11mm)

What kind of turbo are you running? Injector size? there's alot of things you have to take into consideration before someone can just say "you can run 40psi of boost" Thats insane, all you gave us was your build spec on your motor, more info bro.

IAP 740CC Injectors/300ZX MAF Sensor and Walbro 255LPH fuel pump and a T3/T4 turbo. (not real sure on what kind i should run. any suggestions would be helpful) an equal length top mount tubular header. any suggestions on fuel delivery for my horsepower goals? Like i said this is my first all out turbo build.

You may go for it on the 740's, but I would suggest a larger injector. GT3076R or Holset HX35 are two good turbo's that will support the power your looking for, also a Precision SC61 with a .63 a/r exhaust housing is a goof turbo. Borg warner has a nice line of turbos also but I dont know much about them, maybe 480sx will chime in and have a say, he has a BW.

Well does anyone know a good fuel delivey system? i plan to have a JWT tuned ecu. Which on my other 7-10PSI setup was good enough. but now that i want BIG POWER. i guess thats not gonna do the trick. any suggestions?

O and "GTR PrYdE", if i hadnt already bought the BC cams i would prolly have given ur cams a try. ive heard a few bad things about the BC cams. but thanx anyway

I have been looking around and BC makes a 2.6L stroker kit that they claim will hold 1000+HP. i got the money so i will prolly order this kit. the CR i will run will prolly be 8.5:1. With a Bore of 90mm. Im hoping 30PSI in not out of the question. As for the other parts that i have already purchased............RETURNS!!!!

Ok guys i think i have a setup figured out. Im thinkin.....2.6L storker kit. this will make my bottom end strong enough. Next a full head buildup......BC stage 3 cams. BC dual Valve springs......Stainless Steel valves and a port and polish. Port match the intake and exhaust sides. I still need a decent turbo so i need some input. I plan on running 800cc Injectors too. As for the ECU......I guess i will Go with a JWT tuned to my engine specs. An Apexi NEO will help with the fine tuning if the JWT tune isnt perfect. An Apexi Digital AVC-R Boost Controller will help me dial in the boost i need. A tial 40mm Extrenal wastegate? I am tlking with greddy now about a turbo but if u have anything to suggest or add.....PLZZZZZZZZZ DO. my block is back from the machine shop and im waiting for my stroker kit

I just feel inadequate now, I boost 27 psi on a stock block with 10mm studs and a cometic hg with a emance tune putting down 416hp. I'll give you 300 shipped for the 264's. Email me at [email protected].
