Search!

The options are open man... dropping in pistons from the single over head cam "ka24e" give you high compression if you drop them in the de... there are lots of cams becoming available, headers, as you said.. intake and exhaust.. there are several people running induvidual throttle bodies.. the options are endless..

which motor are you working with. to be honest there is more out there for the sohc as it's been used in scca racing for a long time. Not that you can't build a dohc for your purposes but once you hit right around 210rwhp(n/a) on any ka you start losing the driveability. you may want to contact rebello racing. they have been n/a ka race motors for a long time and that's where i got all the parts for mine.

well i will look into differant things but i would like to know what places i should go to. and how come you lose your driveabilaty when you hit 210 hp in a n/a ka? too fast or bad cam sound, like a loopy idle.

Racing cams will need an "idle" of around or just under 1500 rpms to stay running without your foot on the gas.
