I got a clevite bearing set from mazworx and after looking in the fsm there are like 7 different grade main bearings. I used green plastigage and measured inbetween .001" and .0015" on all of the main journals, which according to fsm is acceptable. Should i still go to an infinity dealer and get the right grade bearings matched to my crank or would these clevites be fine? There was barely any difference in clearence on each main at least from what i could see.

Howdy! Sounds like you have a cool build going on. Is it just a stock rebuild, or a full build?

If it were me, I'd go OEM Infiniti for a crucial part like that. No sense in doing it twice. You can check out our vendors in the Marketplace above and if you mention NICO, you'll get a discount. Good luck!
