Building my KA

even in my auto turbo lag wasnt that bad. took maybe a second to hit boost if that then it pulls like a beast

what does anyone know about supercharging my KA, i like that idea too. I thought i heard a rumor that Unstable Hybrids was making one for our car, but i stopped checking in on that, but doesnt that produce about the same HP with less lag??

ehh..theres parasitic lag, adding another belt for the engine to drive= less power, just not a boost lag which actually helps you from burning your tires down to nothing in a lightweight 4 banger.4cyl- get a turbo, its more efficient Theres also the thing about changing pulleys for more boost....

With an N/a KA you will have just as much if not more percievable "lag" in the powerband. Even now my KA has little power below 3500rpms... and I have yet to add cams or extensive headwork to the thing. With a KA that is fully race prepped your looking at a powerband of 4000-7500 rpm.
