I'm going to rebuild my ka24de once spring comes a little closer. here are my intentions. i want to build this ka all motor at first...then possibly turbo in the future. i was wondering what the pistons, rings and rods you guys would recommend for this motor i didn't want to deal with tuning issues at this point in time..so any useful information will be greatly appreciated at this time

if you go n/a at first ur gonna need to get everything brand new all over again. but if u go n/a for a bit get single cam pistons and use ur rods from the dual cam. makes for good, quick, and cheap power for an n/a

I used stock pistons, rods, crank, and head. I had the rotating assembly balanced with the flywheel and pressure plate. Everything is stock tolerances with standard rings and bearings from Hastings and Clevite. Cometic head gasket, ARP studs, stock rod and cradle bolts. She ran great n/a and was fine under 12 psi.

My new project motor is basically the same, except I polished my rods and am currently porting and polishing my head. I also have a few sets of cams and drilled out cam gears to try some new combos in n/a then maybe another turbo.
