Welcome to NICO!

I've revised the topic title to reflect subject. Just a little tip, USE THE CORRECT TITLE: That means, make sure your title has the topic at hand. Don't title something: "I have a question" or "Small concern" or "240sx issues". Instead title it: "Tire tpms question" or "Rear bumper paint issue", that way it will attract the attention of the right people to assist you.

It should all be coming off that main harness. Do you have the wrong TPS maybe? Can you take a picture of what you're working with?
Did you check down in that no-man's land of the intake manifold to make sure its not tucked in there?

If I read this correctly, you have TPS with 2 3 pin (meaning two 3 pin plugs) and only one wire plug with one 3 pin, then you have the incorrect TPS (or you have the incorrect wire harness and ECU). There are two different TPS, one with one plug (3 pin) and one with two (6 pin total). The two plug one adds WOT and Closed position sensing to the variable voltage sensing of the other IIRC. I think it only uses two wires in one plug, but does have 3 pins. I hope that helps.

So, wrong TPS. Just return your TPS and get the other sort. The early model TPS. I have a 1995 and it has a pigtail to a single plug. I had a 1996 and a 1997 and they had two plugs on the TPS, no pigtail. Let us know your final results so others can be search and learn. Thanks.

What sorcery is that?!?!!?!?!

Actually I can't really comment, I've never worked with an S14 TPS. That's way different than my S13s though.

Well, maybe you don't understand my post suggesting you have the wrong TPS and that you need to get the correct TPS. I have a 1995 240sx and mine is OBD-1 and it has a TPS with pigtail and one plug. Therefor it only has one wire plug coming out of the harness in the intake area. I bought mine at AutoZone and their part number for it was TPS465. That is the TPS I think you need and if you buy it and install it will fit your plug and work with your car. The one in the photo you show is completely different, but is for a 240sx, just probably not yours. I had a 1997 and a 1996 that used a TPS like that one in your photo and of course the harness had two plugs to go to it.
