I would like to build a hybrid T3/T4 turbo but im not sure if the compressor wheel should be the T4 or if the tubine should be the T4. Help! I'm kinda new to turbo mechanics but i can handle the build pretty easily.

I'm pretty sure its the compressor that should be a T4, this way the turbo can make more boost due to a larger compressor. The whole point of a T3/T4 is to get more boost without too much increase in the lag.

yes. the compressor is the t4 part. turbine is t3. The turbine is where the exhaust flows through to turn the compressor. The compressor is where the air is forced into the motor. So if it's bigger w/ a smaller turbine then you will get more air into the motor w/ less lag.

wonderful, but you dont need to explain how they work and what the parts do, im familliar with that thank you. I was thinking that if you had a bigger turbine, then the surface area would maybe spool the turbine quicker, but i guess not.
