well I'm building a supercharged KA and I need to make sure I can get all that exhaust out of the engine as fast as possible...so I need an efficient set of exhaust headers.

does anyone have any knowledge of experience with a good type or size? gimmie some input here.

thanks in advance fellas

The DC sports header uses a 2.2" collector at the base of the header. All other brands such as the OBX, HOT SHOt all use a 2.5" collector.

All runner lengths on the dc sports header are all measured at equal length for perfec t pulse scavaging.

Runner length on the OBX and HOT shot are not equal to each other as far as runner length so pulse scavaging can be impeded or interfered.

DC sports header Offers a bulky midrange with moderate high end power gains.

The Hot shot and OBX header as well are midrange power performance headers.

You will probably not be able to find a HOT Shot header as the company went out of business for good.

OBX headers can be found on ebay for $160..

I own a DC sports header paid $380 for it. Best header I ever owned and had 0 problems installing it.

There is also the pacesetter header, i wouldn't recomend it because I've seen dyno's with this header making the smallest gains in the midrange. It's a 4to 1 header that is designed to show power higher in the 7000RPM range which the KA typically doesn't rev or make powerthat high.
