Well I'm getting a turbo soon and am going to design my own header for it. I have a couple questions though. What size piping would you guys use to contstruct the header? Also would you start 3" piping directly off of the end of the header or go 2.5" to 3". I'm not positive on the design yet, but I'm going to talk with a few guys on what design will work the best for my goals. I'm also making my downpipe and flanges for the pipes. Gotta love having access to TIG and MIG welders, CNC machine, bridgeport, lathe and tons of other stuff. :ylsuper

Don't you mean "turbo manifold"?

If you are going big turbo, do 3" piping to cat, 3" catback. All in stainless steel if possible.

i just got done w/ my custom turbo manifold. i think i used 1.25'' piping but ill have to check. you need to either make a flange for your turbo or buy one. i dont know what you mean about starting 3'' piping off the header. you put the turbo at the end. then the downpipe comes off the turbo.

He's a little confused about his "header"

turbo ---> 3" downpipe ---> Random Tech Hi Flow Cat ---> 3" Catback exhaust

Yeah I had been studying too much for finals when I posted and wasn't thinking. So just disregard the question, because they're retarded. I got everything figured out now with what I'm doing.
