would it be possible to make a 240 run 10sec 1/4 mile and heres the catch, using a bottom mount turbo setup t28. phase 2 believes that garret gt2871 are capable of producing up to 450hp. also theres a possibility of of using the gt2886. my guesses are with proper fuel, ecu, proper gasgets,wastegate/actuator,clutch, dif, flywheel and the smaller things like intake exhaust **** this list could prob go on forever but what im saying is with proper gastgets and setup could you do this without racing internals.. just a thought let me know you thoughts opinions on this.

You won't get to 10 flat with a bottom mount at all. I'll be corrected if I'm wrong but most people see low to high 11's maxing out bottom mount setups (2871 and 2876Rs)

i plan on being a 10 second car, but wont know till bout 3 weeks

87 mm piston , eagle rods, bearings blah blah, balanced crank, cometic head gasket , arp hardware, either hks 264 step 2 , or jwt c1's, greddy cam gears, greddy intake manifold, greddy oil pan, aem alcohol injection kit, garrett gt3071r 64 a/r, synapse bov, and external wastegate. greddy vspl. greddy emanage ultimatte. and other thingslike changed from maf to map.. i hope i can break the stereotype of bottom mount setups in the 10's but only time and some trips to the track will tell...

any information or feedback is always appreciated

if the e manage doesnt work out u could always try the enthalpy custom tune.. i see u went with the bigger turbo and you have race internals im guessing stock internals would crumble under 20+ psi boost.. i might have to go with brian crowers stroker kit

i dont know why the emanage ultimate wouldnt work, its actually tuneable where as an enthalpy tune is a basic setup for a set of mods, if im correct. soo i will be able to adjust my tune specificily for my engine, and mods , and not just said sr20 with a b and c mods. NOt Speaking bad on enthalpy at all, i have always heard great things. it just seems some what broad, and kinda of risky for the amount of power, and money im spending.

have everything in my pocession accept my injectors there on there way.. turbo arrived today. engine is at machine shop, dropping off rods, and arp hardware later. soo its slowly coming together... i bleive ill be in the high 400's with my a/r turbo, but the guys at enjuku beleive ill break 500... . guess im going to have to wait to see.. ill keep you updated

welll its not in and ive never tuned with it, i download it on my laptop and soo far it seems farely simple. im no true tuner ill put that out there right now, i dont know much bout fuel mapps. a/f ratios' . and all those goodies, i know it comes with a basemap, for most applications, and i also beleive it has a self learning mode. where u can set it up to try to stay in a certian a/f ratio sooo it will make various adjustment to keep it where it needs to be...

the benifit of the elepathy tune is that it is tuned for your basic set up. so your right where you need to be out of the box. you can then go on to use something like an safc to fine tune your set up.

GT2871R makes the power to get it there. Its gonna take some serious traction though. It takes 400whp to trap around 120mph which best can do 10.9. You add Nitrous and can go much faster of course. Plan on getting a solid suspension setup and 10" slicks. A 2 step is gonna be needed too for a sub 1.6 60ft time. You can fit the GT3076R-WG which supports 500whp. That will definitly make the car fast enough for 10's. Also tuning wise, your gonna need a Standalone or Dyno ROM Tune. As far as the 2871R making 450hp. Quite a few have done 400whp but only a couple i know of have done 425-450whp.

Ive been running an Enthalpy Tune for almost 2 years now. Its very accurate and shouldnt even need tuned by SAFC at all. Just have a wideband or dyno with wideband and adjust fuel pressure to meet the AFR @ WOT. I keep mine around 11.5. Still the ECU Tune doesnt compare to the capabilities of a Standalone like Power FC.
