Lame.

Not Federally legal, so state is irrelevant.

you can buy s15 or skyline crash or blown engine etc.. and rebuild them here but they will have to have a kit car title.. some states dont give titles to kit cars. here florida they do

I've contacted them and talked with them. They get their cars from the same Japanese site I've visited for months now. 10K and up are more logical prices. $10,000 for a R32 GTS-T isn't bad considering they only pay $3,000-$4,000 for the car in Japan. (not counting shipping) I understand importers like $$$ and like Motorex like to gouch the prices to the point that people can't afford. Except the rich, that aren't even into these cars.

What would a 1989 R32 GTS-T cost from Takara Motors with title? (I know its still not completely legal, but o'well LOL)

Takara Kicks A**!!! They allow you to bid on the car of your choice. Quick Question though. What are the other fees and costs to get the car "legalized" for here in the states?

OK so if I got a car for say 5,000.00 I would have to add 3,000 to that for the total amount due.? Cool, thanks again Sean!

corey240, yes thats what they do. A shop in Indy had a R33 GTR that they had imported in pieces and then reassembled it here. They had it titled here in Indiana as a kit car, but I do believe you are only allowed a certain amount of miles within a year to drive it. But if I had one that wouldn't bother me, cause I sure wouldn't drive it in the winter snow with all the idiots running around!!!
