Build tracking

Does Nissan have a means to track the car build process? I ordered a car, and I don't want to have to call my salesman every two days to figure out if it has started/progress/finished/shipped, etc...

Since they probably prefer that you buy what is in inventory, I doubt this is high on the priority list for the IT staff but thought I would ask.

I ordered mine 6/15, showed up today. I asked about this, when I was waiting on a Chevy, they knew when order went to line, when it was built, day it was shipped, etc. I'm guessing they have that info, but too many variables to try to commit to customer. Dealer was told by Nissan 8/8 delivery, but the truck showed up today. So 6 weeks waiting time for a custom built, vin # 9727.

I ordered 2.5s with premium and fog lights. Just for fun I wanted to tell them to keep the floor mats, but what the heck, whats another $175?
