build question

so im waiting for my head to come back from the machine shop and im tired of waitin for it to put the timing cover, chainand guides upper/lower oil pans and water pump on. would it be ok if i put them on without the head?

you'd probably just be making more work for yourself. think about how you had to take it all apart then just be patient and do it backwards when you get the head.

you can put it all on first just make sure you have it at tdc and the right timing mark on the chain on the crank...then use a zip tie to hold the chain up

yea thats wat i did today just ziptied it the chain
