I believe this is in the right section, my apologies if it's not. So I've been at these forums for about a year now but never really posted because normally I could find the answer to any question by searching. I drive (or drove) a 90 240sx. All stock. I bought it Feb 09. Since then, its had 2 different KA24Es in it, one being rebuilt twice. Damn lifters (nothing but headaches). As of now the car has been sitting at my dads shop since around November, I gave up on it until I could do a SR20 swap. Well the time has come. Hopefully my build will start in 2-3 weeks and will last over the next few months, working on it daily. I have roughly $25,000 to spend, labor is free. This car will be stripped down to the shell and built with as many brand new parts as possible. The best of the best. This car will be street legal, track competitor, and show quality. I've got a lot of plans for this car. Main ones being sr20 swap and build, s15 front conversion, and RHD conversion (please do not try to talk me out of it, my decision has been made regardless of what others think). I've spent days upon days searching every little aspect. But I have questions.

Where is the best preferred site to get aftermarket parts? Meaning quality, price, customer service? Is Courtesy Nissan in Texas the best OEM? I've checked them out but it seems they don't carry all the 240sx OEM parts like other sites. Am I doing something wrong?I have yet to find one but does anyone know of a OEM Japan site, like somewhere to get S13 OEM parts that were sold on the cars in Japan? Such as the rhd oem dash new?And I'm looking for something to give build diagrams and OEM part numbers. Such as the pictures you see on OEM sites, but more in depth.

I would personally get as much used stuff in mint condition as you can.

In my opinion, most things off websites are HORRIBLY overpriced.

But to each his own. I'm sure many have suggestions on sites for you.
